Former NBA great Denis Rodman announced that he's planning to travel to Russia to help secure the release of WNBA star Britney Griner. The 5 time NBA champion said “I got permission to go to Russia to help that girl. I’m trying to go this week. I know Putin too well."
The Biden administration, however, has discouraged him from getting involved. He does not need permission from the U.S. to travel to the country, he only needs a Russian visa.
