Roads surrounding former President Trump's Palm Beach home are shut down and the town's mayor says his club should be as well.

"In my mind, if the road is closed, the Mar-a-Lago Club is closed."

Palm Beach Mayor Danielle Moore at this week's Town Council meeting, referring to complaints from residents who are dealing with traffic headaches due to the Secret Service closing a stretch of South Ocean Boulevard to traffic at least through the November election. The move came after the assassination attempt on Trump, but Moore says the club is still open to its members.

"It's completely illogical that you've got a road closed and then you're going to let 350 strangers into your club.'

While she says she is considering closing the club, the town is first looking into legal options to ensure the road remains open when the former president is not home.

A stretch of South Ocean Boulevard is shut down between the road next to Mar-a-Lago and Southern Boulevard.
