Bulls Top Southern Miss

The USF Bulls (2-1) defeated Southern Mississippi (1-2) 49-24 on Saturday night in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

The Bulls fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter, but rallied to tie the game 14-14 by the end of the first quarter. They led 28-21 at halftime before turning the game into a blowout in the second half. A 50-yard run play from Kelly Joiner with 9:25 to go in the fourth gave the Bulls 49 points on the night.

USF will look to build on this win when they host #10 Miami next Saturday. Kickoff between the Bulls and the Hurricanes is scheduled for 7:00 PM on September 21st at Raymond James Stadium.
