Rays Fall To Guardians Saturday

The Cleveland Guardians (85-64) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (73-76) 6-1 on Saturday night at Progressive Field in Cleveland.

The game was scoreless until the fifth inning, when Brayan Rocchio drove in a run to give Cleveland a 1-0 lead. The Guardians erupted for three in the sixth to take control of the game. After the Rays got one back in the eighth thanks to a RBI double from Junior Caminero - his third double of the ballgame, Cleveland added two in the bottom of the frame to clinch the game.

The Rays still have a chance to win the four-game series coming up on Sunday afternoon. First pitch Sunday is scheduled for 1:40 PM - Chris Adams-Wall begins pregame coverage at 1:00 PM on 620 WDAE.
