Sean "Diddy" Combs faces several criminal charges after he was indicted in New York.
The grand jury indictment that led to Diddy's arrest last night was unsealed on Tuesday morning, September 17. According to court documents, the music mogul has been charged with three counts of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The indictment alleges Combs and his employees allegedly participated in "engaged in sex trafficking, forced labor, interstate transportation for purposes of prostitution, coercion and enticement to engage in prostitution, narcotics offenses, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice."
According to the indictment, Combs allegedly abused, threatened and coerced women and others to "fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct." He allegedly utilized Comb Enterprises to conduct business in various industries and maintain his power using "through violence, use of firearms, threats of violence, coercion, and verbal, emotional, physical and sexual abuse." He also used his enterprise to help fulfill his sexual desires "through the exploitation of women and the use of commercial sex workers."
The indictment refers to Diddy's infamous freak-off parties and asserts they were "elaborate and produced sex performances that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded." It alleges Combs distributed controlled substances to victims, sometimes without their knowledge, to keep them "obedient and compliant." Combs is also accused of using his staff members to facilitate the freak-offs. Several items from the freak-offs — like narcotics and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant — were confiscated during the recent raids on Combs' properties in Miami and Los Angeles.
Afterwards, Combs and the alleged victims would use IV fluid to recover from the drug use. Combs also faces drug charges including the intent to distribute narcotics like cocaine, oxycodone, Xanax, GHB, and ketamine.
Diddy was in court this morning to face the charges. His attorney Marc Agnifilo said his client is not guilty and will "fight like hell" to get Combs released on bail.
