The 6-foot-7, 310-pound pro athlete, choked this woman until she was unconscious. Why? Well, she refused to "bow down to him."
When she regained consciousness, Chad Wheeler was standing near the bed and said, "Wow you're alive?" She then ran to the bathroom and called 911.
Once police arrived on the scene, they could hear a woman screaming inside. They forced entry into the apartment & then into the bathroom. The 27-year-old was standing behind her as she cried in pain with a bloody face and limp, swollen arm. Fingerprints on her neck were visible.
According to the report, the former offensive lineman, did not comply with officers' commands and resisted arrest.
Wheeler was locked up through the weekend and was released Tuesday morning after posting a $400,000 bail bond.
