Miles Bridges was arrested in LA last June for allegedly assaulting the mother of his two kids. The NBA conducted its own investigation and issued a 30-game suspension. They also deemed 20 games of the suspension to have been already served because the former Charlotte Hornet did not sign an NBA contract for the 2022-23 season & missed all 82 games. So Bridges will only miss the first 10 games of the 2023-24 season if a team signs him.
Social media expressed disgust that the NBA spared him from a more heavy-handed punishment with one poster scoffing, "The Miles Bridges “suspension” is nuts how you get 20 games already served when he wasn’t even on an NBA roster this season? He should be serving all 30 next season."
So basically Bridges beat and choked his kids mother and the NBA suspended him for a whole 10 days... got it... Smh...
