FLORIDA - A video captured from the International Space Station showcases the immense scale of Hurricane Milton as it approaches Florida.
The external cameras on the space station captured the massive storm churning in the Gulf of Mexico.
The video was recorded just before 10:30 a.m. on Monday, when Milton was a Category 4 storm.
Milton has since intensified to a Category 5, making it the third fastest to reach this strength in the North Atlantic and the fastest in the last 17 years.
According to the National Hurricane Center's Live Hurricane Tracker, Milton is set to make landfall on the west coast of Florida on Wednesday evening.
It is expected to be a Category 3 storm when it hits the shore and will continue to move across the state through major cities like Tampa and Orlando overnight into Thursday.
