Open enrollment is underway for a brand new high school along the Treasure Coast.
Parents who want their kids to attend Legacy High School in Port St. Lucie have until March 31st to do that.
The new school will offer challenging Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment classes when it opens in August.
The St. Lucie County School District says Career and Technical Education Programs will be offered as well.
Legacy High is being opened to accommodate the growing number of people moving to Port St. Lucie. 1500 students will attend the first year, when there will be no graduating class.
