Police Seek Help To Identify Suspect In Brickell Indecent Exposure Incident

Brickell, FL - Authorities are searching for a man who allegedly exposed himself at a Brickell apartment complex, with potential links to a similar incident at the University of Miami.​

The incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. on Sunday at the Maizon Brickell building, located at 221 Southwest 12th Street.

According to Miami Police, the suspect is described as a male in his 20s, wearing a dark green hoodie, sweatpants, and black-and-white sneakers.

Residents of Maizon Brickell have expressed concerns over the intrusion. Eric Hous, a tenant for about a year, stated, "I just found out today that somebody went into the building and exposed themselves."

Detectives are investigating a possible connection between this incident and a similar case at the University of Miami.

On February 16th, around 11 p.m., a man reportedly unclothed and fondled himself in front of a female student at the Donna E. Shalala Student Center.

Authorities have released surveillance images of the suspect and are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Brito or the Special Victims Unit at (305) 603-6300, or via email at SVU@MiamiPolice.org.

Additionally, tips can be submitted anonymously to Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-8477.

Residents are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
