Commissioners are considering whether or not to put the Miami Marine Stadium bid and a special charter amendment referendum on the ballot this November. Don Worth with "Restore Miami Marine Stadium" says voters should have the chance to weigh in on moving forward a deal with a proposed operator to revive the historic waterfront venue. The venue was built in 1963, but closed after Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Commissioners are also looking at putting a Charter amendment on the ballot to move municipal elections to even-numbered years.
